1. About this policy

FitNice is published by Rowix LLC. This policy covers the FitNice iPhone app and these support pages. FitNice provides meal, water, fasting and progress tracking for adults 18 and older. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to info@rowix.com.

2. What you save in FitNice

Your app records can include:

  • Profile information you enter, such as age, sex, height, weight, activity level, chosen goals, and your preferred units.
  • Answers to the setup questions, such as the obstacles you choose, your fasting preference, and coaching style. The obstacles you choose are saved as preferences Diet Expert can use when AI sharing is enabled.
  • Meals and estimated nutrition, water entries, fasting times, weight history, reminders, food preferences, and facts you ask Diet Expert to remember.
  • Messages you send to Diet Expert, its replies, conversation summaries, meal photos, and progress photos you choose to attach.
  • Your city and country, if you allow location access, and app settings such as notification and AI-sharing choices.

These records are saved in the app’s local storage on your iPhone. FitNice does not currently provide account-based cloud storage or CloudKit synchronization. Your device may include app data in backups according to your Apple settings.

3. When information is shared with AI

Before using Diet Expert, FitNice asks for your permission to share information with Google Gemini through a service hosted by Cloudflare. AI requests can include your message, a photo you attach, relevant recent conversation and a summary of older conversation, profile information, tracking totals and history, saved preferences and memories, and your city and country when available. This context is used to answer questions, estimate nutrition, personalize suggestions, and carry out tracking actions you request.

With AI sharing enabled, FitNice may also send relevant text and tracking context to summarize a long conversation or generate a check-in. Only a newly attached image is included as image data in its message request; older conversation summaries describe attachments in text. Turning AI sharing off stops future AI requests, including background check-ins and summaries. Your existing local records remain available.

Cloudflare carries the request to Google over HTTPS and streams the response back. The FitNice proxy does not maintain a database of your diary, does not cache AI responses, and contains no application code that logs chat bodies, photos, or location values. This is not a promise that infrastructure or AI providers retain no data.

Google processes AI inputs and outputs under the Gemini API terms and applicable data-processing terms. Google may retain inputs and outputs for a limited period for security, abuse prevention, and legal requirements. Provider processing may take place in countries where those providers operate. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for their respective practices.

4. Device permissions

Camera and photos: FitNice uses photos you choose to capture, select, or paste. It does not upload your photo library in the background. Photos selected for Diet Expert are sent for AI analysis only with AI sharing enabled.

Location: If allowed, the app uses Apple’s location and geocoding services to find your city. FitNice sends city and country in AI context; it does not send GPS coordinates to the FitNice AI proxy or Google Gemini. You can deny or revoke location access in iPhone Settings.

Notifications: Water and fasting reminders, and an optional reminder before a free trial ends, are scheduled locally through iOS. Notification text can be visible on your lock screen depending on your settings. The app does not operate an account-based remote push-notification service.

The current FitNice interface does not offer audio-message recording or upload audio to Diet Expert. Dictation provided by your iPhone is controlled by Apple and your device settings.

5. Premium access and payments

Apple handles subscription and lifetime purchases, payment details, renewals, offer-code redemptions, and refunds. FitNice uses Apple’s StoreKit service to check access, check whether your Apple Account is eligible for a free trial, and restore purchases on your device. Your payment-card information is not provided to FitNice. Premium purchase status is not included in AI requests. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account.

Native Apple redemption, build 21 and later: In FitNice 2.0, build 21 and later, offer codes are entered directly in Apple’s native redemption screen. FitNice does not read the entered code or send a coupon lookup request to its Cloudflare service in this flow. Apple processes the code and determines eligibility; FitNice uses verified StoreKit purchase information to update access.

Legacy coupon processing, build 20 and earlier: Earlier builds with a custom coupon field can send the entered code, selected product, App Store country and currency, and production or test environment to the Cloudflare service. These requests contain no diary records or health profile. The service stores offer configuration and Apple code inventory. Production checks do not create customer or redemption records. For test offers, a random request marker is hashed and saved with an issued one-time code and its issue time so retries can reuse the same code. This marker is not your Apple Account or a persistent device identifier and is not linked to your diary. It is retained with the test inventory to prevent reissuing a used code. Updating the app does not automatically erase this historical test inventory. Apple handles redemption and eligibility.

6. Technical information, links, and support

Service providers process technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as IP addresses, request times, response status, and operational diagnostics. FitNice’s Cloudflare configuration enables operational request logging. These logs are not used by FitNice for advertising or to build advertising profiles.

If you choose to open a delivery service or another website, that service receives the request and handles your information under its own terms. A delivery link may include your city and the dish you chose to search for. FitNice does not receive your delivery account credentials, payment details, or order history.

If you email support, we receive the contact details, message, and attachments you choose to send and use them to respond to your request. Please avoid including unnecessary health details. These support pages contain no advertising pixels, analytics scripts, forms, or cookies set by the page code.

7. Retention and deletion

Your local records remain on your device until you remove them through the app’s data controls or delete the app. An exported copy stays wherever you save or share it; you control that copy separately. Device backups are managed through Apple and are not deleted by the app’s local-data controls.

Deleting app data or revoking AI consent does not retract information already processed by a provider. Provider security and legal records follow the provider’s retention rules. FitNice does not assign you a server account or keep a remote diary that can be searched by user account. If you request deletion of information held in support correspondence, or assistance with a provider request, contact info@rowix.com. We will handle the request as applicable and explain any information we cannot locate or must retain for legal or security reasons.

8. Your choices and rights

You can change or withdraw AI-sharing permission, export saved records, and delete local data using the app’s privacy controls. You can also change camera, photo, location and notification permissions in iPhone Settings. Withdrawal of consent applies to future processing and does not affect processing already performed. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information, object to certain processing, and complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact info@rowix.com to make a privacy request.

Where applicable, we rely on your consent for optional AI sharing and device permissions, providing the requested service for core features and support, and legitimate interests for necessary security and reliability measures. FitNice does not sell personal data, display advertisements, or use your information for cross-app advertising tracking.

9. Adults and general wellness

FitNice is intended for adults 18 and older. It is not designed for children and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can help address the request.

10. Policy updates

We may update this policy when features or processing change. The date above identifies the current version. If a change requires a new choice or permission, FitNice will ask for it before the relevant sharing begins.
